Cybertel Bridge Presents LM75EC at 450connect Tag 2026
2026.09.22
Cybertel Bridge and its German partner, ICOM Europe, participated in 450connect Tag 2026. At the event, Cybertel Bridge introduced LM75EC, an upcoming device for utility communications.
LM75EC is based on Qualcomm QCM6490 and natively supports 450 MHz. It is designed to provide reliable RF performance and clear voice communication in demanding field environments.
Due to the characteristics of 450 MHz, indoor communication may still be a concern. Network coverage may be limited inside buildings, in basements, or around structural obstacles. To address this, LM75EC supports DMR Tier II Direct Mode Operation (DMO). DMO allows direct device-to-device communication when network access is unavailable or limited.
Cybertel Bridge’s Relay Mode connects DMR DMO users outside network coverage with broadband MCX users. DMR DMO and MCX users can have two-way voice communication within the same talk group. This maintains communication between off-network and on-network users.
LM75EC and Relay Mode received interest from user organizations in the utility sector. The radio-style form factor and wide range of accessories also received positive feedback.
Cybertel Bridge also presented a dedicated vehicle cradle for LM75EC and a range of accessories for utility communications. These accessories support the practical use of LM75EC in different field environments.
Cybertel Bridge will continue to work with ICOM Europe. Together, they will develop solutions that connect 450 MHz broadband services with direct radio communication and support reliable field operations.
