Cybertel attended SNUC Day recently held in Europe and engaged in technical discussions on next-generation mission critical communication environments with stakeholders from the public safety and utility sectors.

SNUC Day is a user-centric conference hosted by Airbus, where actual public safety communication users and industry stakeholders participate to share technical directions and requirements based on real operational experience. In particular, as the transition from TETRA to broadband-based MCX accelerates, Airbus invites a range of device and solution vendors to provide customers with broader options and to jointly explore technology directions suited to real operational environments.

In this transition, broadband-based communications offer the following key advantages over traditional TETRA:

• Support for real-time data and video

• Availability of a wide range of devices and accessories

• Establishment of a standards-based ecosystem

• Cost efficiency

At the event, Cybertel introduced its MCX device lineup, including the new LM84 as well as LM75 and CM65, presenting a device strategy optimized for the transition from TETRA to MCX. In particular, LM84 is a next-generation MCX device designed with a form factor similar to traditional TETRA radios, emphasizing a user-friendly interface and field-oriented operability.

During the event, Cybertel exchanged direct feedback with public safety and utility users across Europe, identifying requirements from real-world usage environments and gaining insights into future product improvements and technical directions.
